El Gouna Film Festival

Green Star Award (2021)

“An eco-friendly trophy inspired from contextual nature”

We knew that we wanted to celebrate nature elements but our main goal was to make the trophy more contextual and related to Gouna since it’s an international event. After doing a thorough research, we found that mangrove islands are great nature reserves in Gouna. Hence, we were inspired to use the leaves of the mangrove trees and capture the moment of the leaves while falling and imagining that they intersect to form into the gouna star.

The Parrot Applique (2021)

The applique followed the theme of the Parrot House, a residential project designed by 4 elements that is inspired by nature where the designer wanted to highlight the important corners in the house with an abstract figure of the parrot.

Paradise birds (2023)

Birds are often associated with positive emotions such as love, joy, and freedom due to their graceful movements and melodious songs.

By incorporating these elements into a sculpture design, we wanted to convey a sense of whimsy and vitality that can be brought into a home setting. The sculpture serves as a reminder of the beauty of nature and the uplifting feelings associated with it, providing a sense of peace and tranquility in its surroundings.

World Urban Forum, Poland

breath of life (2022)

Designed for Egypt’s pavilion at the 11th edition of the World Urban Forum in Poland.

The Ankh, one of the most recognizable ancient Egyptian symbols, is known as the key of life. A safe “shelter” has always been one of the basic needs for a human to live. Hence, the Ankh symbolizes this idea of home being the key of life where the urban grid of Cairo has been engraved on the Ankh following the same concept of the Egyptian hieroglyphic writing on walls.

THE GROCER SCULPTURE (2022)

Translating a silhouette curvy design into a geometric fierce one was a very challenging task for us as we had to maintain the logo which is part of the branding identity while abstracting it into a low poly design. Hence, the first step we did was looking for the design features that are remarkable in this logo like the collar, apron, moustach and hat.

Club Med Hotel, Seychelles

Seychelles Monkey (2020)

The Seychelles monkey is our very first international project outside Egypt. Our geometric monkey at Club Med Seychelles in Sainte Anne, Seychelles is visioned by GG&Grace and brought to life by Maramzy. The monkey acts as one of the focal, cool points in the bar area at the hotel!
